The only constant in Morta Mor’s world is change—a philosophy that extends to her lifestyle, music, and creative evolution. Shaped by Berlin’s club and festival culture, Morta’s musical journey took root in Lithuania, her home country, where she spent the Covid years.

Splitting her time between Berlin and Bali, Morta’s sound reflects the vibrant energies of these diverse worlds. Her eclectic sets seamlessly blend house, indie dance, electronica, and nu-disco with unexpected twists—be it a nostalgic pop remix, a rap track, or a surprise curveball. In short, her sound is all about the weird, the sassy, and the trippy, with a unifying thread of groove-driven house music, designed to make people dance.

Morta’s sets are not just a collection of tracks; they are narratives crafted with intention, each an act of storytelling woven with a thread of empowerment. Amplifying the voices of women, queer, and POC producers, her performances turn every set into a story of connection, inclusion, and self-expression.

The only constant in Morta Mor’s world is change—a philosophy that extends to her lifestyle, music, and creative evolution. Shaped by Berlin’s club and festival culture, Morta’s musical journey took root in Lithuania, her home country, where she spent the Covid years.

Her debut gig came in 2020 at the boutique festival Imaginarium V, a hidden gem in Lithuania’s creative scene. This milestone was made possible through the unwavering support of Pretty Much, a Lithuanian creative collective that provided not only her first opportunity but also a solid foundation for her artistic growth, with numerous collaborative events and projects shaping her path.

In 2023, Morta’s journey took another leap with the release of her first track as part of the project Echoes of the Imaginarium. Collaborating with Phun Thomas and featuring the vocals of Ole Ukena, the track marked the beginning of her foray into music production—a path she is excited to explore further, with more projects already underway.

Currently splitting her time between Berlin and Bali, Morta’s sound continues to evolve, reflecting the unique energies of multiple worlds. Her sets are a celebration of eclecticism, seamlessly blending genres like house, indie dance, electronica, and nu-disco with unexpected twists—be it a nostalgic pop remix, a rap track, or a surprise curveball.

In short, her sound is all about the weird, the sassy, and the trippy, with a unifying thread of groove-driven house music, designed to make people dance—her philosophy is rooted in the joy of movement, creating an immersive experience where dancers can lose themselves and express their wildest moves.

Morta’s sets are not just a collection of tracks; they are narratives crafted with intention. Each performance is an act of storytelling, woven with a thread of empowerment. Her playlists reflect her commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices in the electronic music world, often featuring the works of women, queer, and POC producers. By shining a spotlight on these creators, Morta not only brings diversity to the dancefloor but also raises awareness about the power of inclusion. For those who listen closely, her sets tell stories of strength and self-expression, turning every dancefloor into a space of empowerment and unity.

With over 12 years of experience as a professional party and festival-goer, collaborator, and promoter, Morta brings a holistic approach to her craft. Whether it’s through her music or her presence on the dancefloor, she continues to inspire connection, creativity, and celebration wherever her journey takes her.

Morta has also played at a variety of renowned venues and clubs, including Salon zur Wilden Renate and Klunkerkranich in Berlin, Germany, Maison Balkii in Geneva, Switzerland, Kablys Club, Youngs Club, Opera Social House and Love Bar in Vilnius, Saules Baras and Zuikio Darzas in Nida, Lithuania; as well as festivals such as Bucht der Träumer in Germany, Yaga Gathering and The Imaginarium in Lithuania, and Karkkilehto Festival in Finland.
